The Digital Media Sales Executive will play a key role in driving the company’s sales initiatives and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker, effective collaborator and individual contributor, who has impeccable media and or digital advertising sales and management skills with a track record of driving results.
Candidate must be willing to learn/train to gain deeper understanding of the metalworking media market, clients in the space, products available and industry trade shows.
Presence, proven sales and management success in the ad industry with strong organizational navigation agility are essential requirements. The Digital Media Sales Executive will manage a sales territory, up-selling current clients, developing new clients, and attending industry events.
Desired Skills & Experience
- BA/BS degree.
- 2+ years of media sales or account management with digital experience preferred.
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals with a demonstrated track record in closing new business
- Success in initiating and engaging marketers and their ad agencies.
- Passion for digital advertising and ability to work and sell in a fast-paced, changing environment where ad products are often sold as technology is emerging
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and comfort presenting in front of a client a must
- Ability to travel to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events
- Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations
