KFC is taking an interesting twist on the idea of 'dynamic placements' http://www.brandweek.com/bw/content_display/news-and-features/retail-restaurants/e3ic48b7a3a3eb3111d1e753e41e824f324

Recently they offered to fill five cities potholes. They will market the project by marking the potholes with the KFC re-freshed logo...they are helping the city AND marketing their brand as well!

I think these dynamic placements are genius advertising. Think of the Budwiser rooftop outside of Wrigley Field. In real life, the roof is tiny but you'd never know it when you watch a game on TV or sit in the stands at Wrigley. It gets more recognition than any traditional billboard or banner advertisement inside the park.
