A Borrell Associates report released this morning reported that broadcast TV stations received $1 billion in revenue for online advertising sales in 2008. This represents a 36 percent increase from 2007. In 22 of 80 markets local TV sites received more unique visitors than newspaper sites, compared with 16 markets in 2007.
